I'm going through a really rough relationship. My partner is controlling and manipulative without realizing it. He somehow turns the tables so that he has the lead in any situation. We're currently on a break [my own idea] and he twisted it so that he gets to decide when we speak and whether or not we'll stay together. Do you have any suggestions for someone suffering from a low relationship self esteem, codependance, and in need of assertiveness?
